Morocco is known for it's rich culture, sand dunes, camel rides, food diversity, and more. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the North and the Atlantic Ocean to the West of its country.
Join me on my journey to Casablanca, the most cosmopolitan and Western-feeling city in Morocco. The Port of Casablanca being one of the largest artificial ports in Africa, Casablanca also hosts the primary naval base for the Royal Moroccan Navy. Standing partly over the water, the enormous Hassan II Mosque has the capacity to hold 105,000 people at one time. It is currently the 2nd largest mosque in Africa and is the 14th largest in the world. Built in 1993, its estimated cost to build is between $400–$700 million
